Szelągowski Park — Attraction in Poznan

The name of the park comes from the merchant family of Szylingów, the most famous of which was Mikołaj Szyling (mayor of Poznań, goldsmith, humanist). He was the founder of the gunpowder factory in the area of ​​present Szeląg. Over time, the factory ceased operations, and feral areas became a popular destination for trips of Poznań residents (from the early nineteenth century).
