Galicyjski Rynek — Attraction in Sanok

Great skanzen to get to know the former, rural Polish, Lemko, Bojko architecture, history, forms of life, traditions, folklore, clothing, habits, religions and origins. The skanzen is biggest in Poland. Unfortunatelly after buying the regular ticket we did not get to visit most of the museum exhibition buildings from inside as they were locked. Be aware that many of the exhibition buildings are open only for guided groups, what we got surprised. There are maps of the open-air museum only at few places. The English (at least) translatoned signs and information tables are missing at most buildings we could visit. At the open-air museum does not speak English just at ticket office. I highly recommend to visit as it is a lovely vantage point with 360' view including Przemyśl city and it's surroundings.

It provides for contrasting views of wild and spanning hills and forests versus sprawling city.

My recommendation is to drive the parking almost at the top of the hill and have a short walk to the top and to follow short but beautifuly situated...

Jest to trochę bardziej "komercyjna" część Muzeum budownictwa ludowego. Wiernie odtworzono tutaj rynek miasteczka dawnej Galicji, w domach mieszczą się zakłady garncarskie, krawieckie, poczta z której można wysłać kartkę, dom żyda, siedziba GOPR, zegarmistrz, apteka, pracownia ikon. Jest też cukiernia i piekarnia oferujące swoje pyszności, wypiekane na miejscu. Wnętrza wszystkich domostw urządzono sprzętami z epoki. Nie do wszystkich można samemu wejść i zwiedzać, lecz w większości są opiekunowie, którzy trochę zachęceni opowiadają o znajdujących się tam przedmiotach i życiu ówczesnych ludzi. Jest też kilka straganów i sklepów z pamiątkami. Zwłaszcza w pierwszym od wejścia można kupić naprawdę nie tuzinkowe rzeczy, np. gliniany słoik na dżem ze świni. Miła rozrywka po, lub przed zwiedzeniem skansenu. Po środku jest też studnia z funkcją selfie, (szczegóły znajdują się na wiszącej na niej tabliczce). Szkoda tylko że do miasteczka można wejść tylko po zakupieniu biletu na zwiedzanie muzeum. Myślę że powinny być dwa osobne. Chyba że jest jakaś opcja o...
