Beautiful viewing point. Parking is free. There is a 500m promenade which takes you through some of the Dunes and to a viewing platform. Parking is free at the side. You can walk down to the beach or drive into the little town attached. Good spot for surfing or swimming if the water is calm. Don't go in the sea unless you are experienced and confident. Grab a coffee at the small cafe on the front in the town which is 2 min drive away. There is no wheelchair access and there are some steps here so take this into account. If you can't walk very well then you can still access the viewing point along but you will need to navigate some steps and a small slope I would recommend a stop , relax and enjoy the view for 30 mins and take in some sunshine

Very nice beach with a calm sea. You have free parking around, just have luck to get it fast/first otherwise in the town, you have paid parking. Close to the beach there are coffees with average prices so you can enjoy the sun when in the beach or when you get your ice-cream in the coffee. The sea here is calm and not deep so with kids it's great because you and them can enjoy it. There is also a kind of river that finish in the sea and here the water is really calm. So another great spot for the kids play.

In winter, the water isn’t blue, but in summer it becomes a brighter blue in the sunlight. There are nearby restaurants, and it is easily accessible for people with disabilities. Children can play in the river as it is safe. I hope to return soon and enjoy it as much as I did last time. --- ### Portuguese Translation É uma praia com um amplo espaço que possui cerca de cinco arbustos na parte superior, de onde se pode desfrutar de pôr do sol incríveis. No inverno, a água não é azul, mas no verão ela se torna mais azul sob a luz do sol. Há restaurantes nas proximidades, e é facilmente acessível para pessoas com deficiência. As crianças podem brincar no rio, pois é seguro. Espero voltar em breve e aproveitar tanto quanto da última vez.

Lovely beach in a small town. Large uncrowded beach with a river running through it. Also a great surf option just north of Nazare, with some large sandbars creating some interesting breaks. As usual always use caution in the water and be mindful of the currents. breathtaking views of the surrounding coastline and beaches and a great spot to enjoy the sunset. Also some delicious traditional Portuguese restaurants in town to fill your hungry stomach! Enjoy the treasures this wonderful...
