Embarking on a tandem paragliding experience in Lisbon was an absolute dream come true! Days before the flying session, Nuno contacted me via email to make sure that we can confirm our session. He did say that they would not know if we could flying until 24hrs before the session due to changing weather conditions. He also gave us a pinned google location to help us find the flying site easier. The site is not easily accessible by public transport, but it's super easy if you're driving or taking a Bolt. From the moment we arrived, the instructors Nuno and Pablo were incredibly welcoming and professional, ensuring that we felt completely safe and well-informed throughout the entire process. Pablo even brought his wife and son along to help, and that made us feel extra safe and welcomed. The take-off was quick and smooth - they made it so that we didn't even have time to be scared! And as we ascended, the panoramic views of the Lisbon coastline was nothing short of breathtaking. The instructors were very skilled, showing us different flying techniques and making the flight enjoyable with his expertise and friendly conversation. The landing was just as smooth as the takeoff, rounding off a perfect experience. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an incredible way to explore the coastline of Lisbon. Read moreI booked my experience with this company via GetYourGuide. I was at the meeting point right on time for pick-up. But no one came to pick me up. No one was available by phone. I then wrote a message asking if I had been forgotten and got an answer straight away (And I really wasn't rude in my message). The answer only said that there wasn't enough wind to fly today and that I should have asked two days ago, which is also stated on GetYourGuide.
Of course, it's not the company's fault if there's not enough wind and it's not their fault if I don't read the instructions correctly. But I don't understand why the company just let me come to the meeting point, even though they should have seen in the system that I didn't contact them two days in advance, nor that the flight was canceled. They simply waited for me to get in touch because I was standing at the meeting point waiting in vain. And then to write an answer along the lines of “it's your own fault” and not even write what my alternative options are, I find totally unfair. I was really very disappointed and sad and it wouldn't have been like that if the organizer hadn't let me down like that. I decided to go straight for a refund because I didn't feel comfortable postponing the flight to another day as I would have had to meet the organizer in real life.

Read moreI booked for a flight and had the transport arranged by the company. On the event day, I arrived at the meeting point 3 minutes before the agreed meeting time. I notified them I had arrived. I emailed them after 10 minutes. No van ever showed up.
I called the company after 20 minutes of waiting. I waited for another 15 minutes to get a reply. But I got at last was a text saying that the driver forgot and left without me, as well as saying that it’s not possible to do paragliding today due to the fog.
I only got notified after calling the company myself! They didn’t call their clients before leaving the meeting point. They also didn’t have the decency to let their clients know they are cancelling the flight before the meeting time, or they just simply forgot they have such a client! There’s weather forecast! And how could the driver just forget that he has another client to pick up?? I just don’t get why they could act so unprofessionally. This is extremely outrageous.
