In my opinion really worth to go there and see these views. Price is quite fair - 10 euros per person for round trip (up and down). You can find there few (4) parking places and then if it is busy you have to park along road. In parking place you find roof view with panoramic view on Funchal and also cliff. When you go down there is no coffee or food place - only beach and tomato and bananas plantation. This place is not very popular so if you looking for some calm and beautiful area to spend time for sure you will be happy...

Safe, interesting and inexpensive cable car down to the Fajas below Cabo Girao. Sone challenging washed out walkways, but passible if you take your time. Great fun, worthy side trip if visiting Cabo Girao. The restaurant at the top offers excellent coffee and a wonderful view towards Funchal.
