Is this one of Europe's truly great museums? Er... well, no obviously not. It's a combination of art gallery, museum and exhibition space in a small and unpretentious town in central Portugal. It is, though, extremely well-presented. The staff are friendly and patient, the small art exhibition - especially the sculpture - is surprisingly good, and the overall layout is modern and pleasing. Well-priced and well worth it on a rainy day. A few more English translations would make it even better for the tourists, together with a few artists'...
