Absolutely beautiful ruins of a very large Roman Villa. The municipality has maintained and built a wonderful interpretative board walk with signage in Portuguese and English. It’s free to walk the boardwalk and takes about 45 mins. It’s a 10 mins (5euro) Uber from Oeiras and well worth it. Great history and the ruins are exceptionally preserved. Very quiet and secluded. Usual experience. Trying to image how the Romans lived here. Although there are cctv' s installed here. I don't think I'd venture here alone. A bit too secluded for my liking! Still a nice place to if you're looking for tranquillity,...
