We were here because we stayed in the resort next to this praia. 1. The parking lot is quite wide for parking your vehicles. 2. The place is quite clean in the sand (we picked up some plastics from the sand). Next to the stairs where people wash their food or hand, it is quite dirty. Some people need to throw their rubbish in the place where should be thrown. The main dustbin is upstairs next to the surf school. No dustbin in tue beach, may ne because of the wave. 3. Many surfers there to train. It is quite interesting to see them chase the wave. 4. The water is muito bom for swimming.

You should come here expecting wind and ice cold water. Still, it's a great beach to go for a walk, particularly when the tide is low. If that's your plan, follow North towards the river and you'll have a few km of peace and cold winds.

Nice beach, clean sand and not too crowded. Keep in mind that the water is not Mediterranean temperature and only 18C and currents can be strong. Not suitable for children younger than 6, but most hotels in the area have pools too.

Una playa natural muy recomendable si te gustan las playas sin masificaciones. Tienes que estar antes de las 10 para poder aparcar cerca. si andas un poco por la playa podrás ponerte en un lugar más aislado. Hay que tener en cuenta que es una playa con viento por lo que es importante traer un cortavientos. Agua gélida. Poca gente en el agua. La temperatura de fuera tampoco es muy calurosa no suele superar los 25 ó 26 grados teniendo en cuenta que siempre hay una brisilla. Aún así a nosotros nos gustó mucho. En fin.... esto es la costa atlántica. Nuestra visita ha sido en julio.

Ofir Beach gehört zu den besten Stränden Nordportugals, ich bin immer gerne hier. Nach dem Baden kann man direkt unter die Dusche den Salz abwaschen und anschließend wieder auf Badetuch. Es ist auch möglich vor Ort Surfuntericht zu buchen, kann ich aus Selbsterfahrung empfehlen. Für Verpflegung ist natürlich auch gesorgt. Wichtig: es ist ein rauchiger Strand und es hersch immer eine Biese, es kommt auch immerwieder vor, dass es so stark windet, dass man erst am nächsten Tage wieder kommen muss. Viel spass bei eurem Besuch...
