We to traveled to Lisbon for a little over a week, I took my 8 year old and obviously wanted to do some stuff geared for kids so he had some entertainment. On our last day I went on this site and it seemed you could purchase tickets at the park, I checked opening hours and we were there on Friday 11/25 at 2:30 pm. It was a long drive from Lisbons historical center but my child couldn’t stop taking about it, so it was worth it. Until we arrived and we’re greeted by a very grumpy teenage girl who said we needed reservations and he was not going to be able to play in any course because there weren’t enough attendants. She said there was a school who had already booked the mini kids course and they were the only ones who could use the park. I explained this was our last day in Portugal as my child stood behind me crying in disappointment, she maintained that he wouldn’t be able to go in because there wasn’t enough staff (even though there were several people sitting in the office behind her). I offered to pay extra, and even offered to pay the fee for the entire class using the course if they would allow one more child in, her response “no but I can make you an appointment for another day, this is all on our website”. While I am fluent in Portuguese I did not read anything about reservations on the website. For the most part we encountered incredibly friendly and helpful people in Portugal, and it was an amazing trip but it’s unfortunate that at a children’s place lazy, grumpy teenagers can’t do more to help when we’re only talking about one child, who is disappointed and crying. I’m sure the school would not have minded adding another child to their group (that I would be supervising) if they had known I would’ve paid for their entire outing. We will be back In Portugal, but as we were driving away my son said “I never want to come here again”, so we’ll be spending our time and money in other places designated for kids, I just can’t understand how places who are created for children can be so inflexible and rude and quick to disappoint a child. Perhaps if I had 5 kids with me it would’ve made sense why they couldn’t accommodate, but it was only one child. Poor management here and poor staff. I haven’t encountered this anywhere in the world at a children’s...

Read moreFirst think this place requires prior reservation before entering. So if you didn’t make a reservation you can’t do it the day you came. Second they do not provide helmets and gloves. Helmets are not as important but gloves are essential as there are a lot of places were you will need to hold tight onto ropes or wood, without gloves you will scrape off multiple layers of your hands skin and get blisters. Third if you want to try the mega course you must be able to pull your self up or pull up your own weight. Fourth there are a lot of rope ladder and rope net obstacle on mega course. They are very shaky so it’s super hard to get to the top. Each section in mega course starts with rope ladder. There are total of 5 sections in mega course. Fifth You will be very dehydrated as there are no water fountains so bring your own water and someone who can sit with your items because it is recommended to not bring any bags or items onto the course, in between each course you can go to wash hands and cool down with tap water. Sixth there are 2 bathrooms 1 for woman and one for men. There is also a picnic area with Tree shade from the sun. Right beside there are a lot of trails for waking and for bike racing down the hills. Good place for those who want to have...
