Wer Porto Santo kennen lernen möchte kommt an diesem Museum / Mann (José Cardina) nicht vorbei. Selten sieht man so etwas aus der eigenen Idee, Kraft und Hingabe geschaffenes! Alles und das im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes ist selbst gebaut, gesammelt und/oder nachgebaut. Wir waren und sind von dieser Liebe zur Heimat und dem Erhalt ihrer Geschichte mehr als beeindruckt. Aber nicht nur das. Man kann sich die Erinnerung auch noch lange erhalten und bildlich gesprochen "Mit nach Hause nehmen"! Im Museum kann man auch, nach einer Probe, den selbst hergestellten Wein "Cardina" käuflich erwerben. Ein Gaumengenuss wie wir finden! Es gibt auch noch eine Tipp! Unweit vom Museum entfernt steht das Restaurant "Torres". Das sich im Familienbesitz befindet. Wir haben selten so ein hervorragendes BBQ gegessen wie dort!
