The colors, the atmosphere, and the sense of peace make it worth the early wake-up.

Parking can be difficult since there are only a few spaces, so it’s best to arrive well before 7:00 if you’re going for the September sunrise around 7:50. It can also get very windy and chilly up here, so definitely bring a jacket.

Amazing view point, especially for sunrise. For sunrise there is a police car that won't let you go up with the car, only to park in the main big car park which is €5 for the entire day - can be paid by card. The walk up can be at around 20min or wait for the shuttle bus. Once up, there are plenty of options from where to watch the sunrise which is good because it was so surprising to see how many people of all ages turned up. Truly impressive spot to admire sunrise above the clouds. Good thing is that it is just 200m walking from the parking, bad thing is that in the same time it is super crowded because of that. At 7AM in the morning there are possibly about a hundred people and it can be a bit noisy sometimes, unfortunately. Try to keep it down to keep the moment as magical as possible!!
