Great favourite of mine. South Coast from Lisbon about 40 minute drive. Hidden gem where you can enjoy the saltiness of the sea or fresh water. Super clean beach just make sure you bring your sun lotions as it can get pretty hot. There's a beach bar/restaurants at really good modest prices. Beautiful place. The lagoon is fed mix of fresh water from the streams and salt water from the ocean, it is calm and great for families with kids. Surrounded by pine forest. Sand dunes. Also has a restaurant on the beach. Different type of sports activities, like sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing and canoeing. Great at sunset. Very popular. Could be a bit overcrowded...

Otherwise, you will spend over an hour to get there by public transport. Or you can order an Uber or Bolt like I did (if you're going with other people you can share the trip so it's cheaper).
