Arrabidas Monastery of Saint Mary This place is magical and a bridge between us, regular people, and these special ones who had none or very little ego. It was a interesting experience to see the conditions they lived in, how little they needed and only imagine how much faith they had. The ocean view is incredible! The only problem I saw was the conservation state it is in. The Oriental Foundation has been trying to recover it, but it still has a lot of damages from the time it was abandoned. Anyway an amazing experience...

This is a beautiful white washed walls convent encrusted on the top of Serra da Arrabida, south of Lisbon, overlooking the ocean, with a fascinating history of its foundations and of the capuchin priests who lived there. They were part of a reform movement within the Franciscan order, 16th century, known for its emphasis on simplicity, poverty, and a contemplative life, focusing on serving the poor and...

From the top of the mountain in Arrábida, Setúbal, the views are magnificent,a mixture of country side and the sea it's just magical, with the silence and quiet environment.i love Setúbal and glad the Setúbal council finally in the last couple of years start to look after the municipality. In the name of all people love Setúbal and Arrábida many thanks to the mayor.
