It's the three day festival centered around the Church. A lot of fun. Go early to park for the field car park is also used by beach folk. Lots of families with younger children. Food and drink. Artisan Honey and the usual stalls selling unusual bric-a-bac. It's wonderful. Tickets not needed free entry. It can be a long walk from parking along the feeder roads. Thinking older generation...

A beautiful, older church that has stunning views of the beach area. You can walk all around the church to see the different views, and walk around the area at the beautiful homes nearby.

Templo católico construido en el siglo XVI sobre los restos de una iglesia anterior del siglo XIII. Es posible que existiese una mezquita en este mismo emplazamiento durante la ocupación islámica de la zona. Tras el Terremoto de Lisboa del año 1755 el templo se vio gravemente afectado, siendo necesaria la reconstrucción de parte de su estructura. Presenta planta rectangular formada por tres naves, con arcos soportados por columnas y capiteles decorados con hemisferios y cuerdas. El elemento más antiguo que se conserva es una puerta lateral de estilo gótico, perteneciente a la iglesia original. Destaca su portada renacentista, decorada con pilastras ornamentadas y los relieves con las cabezas de San Pedro y San Pablo
