Read moreMust must must see! Wonderful place to learn and play. On the 5th floor you’ll find the interactive play area; it’s fun for smaller, older kids as well as for adults. I love how technology was integrated into the museums interactive play area. At the 5th floor entrance they’ll give you smart wristbands needed to start any of the games available. Tip: to start the game touch your wristband to the designated circle and HOLD it there fir a few seconds until the circle turns green, then you’ll be asked to begin the challenge. They games are designed as active challenges: jumping, hanging, wall climbing, cycling, rowing, ball throwing, car pushing, etc. Sooo fun! Some games require 2, 3 players to scan their wristbands at the same time to participate together in the challenge, while others can be played independently. On the 7th floor there is the actual museum exhibition which is also very nicely organised and where technology was as well beautifully integrated. My sons favourite is of course the race car exhibit. There is also a hall full of Olympic torches through the ages - fascinating designs! And almost at the end there is a miniature display of all the 2022 stadiums, amongst many many other things worth seeing. Just by following the natural flow of the museum you will end up down the ramps and you’ll eventually find yourself on the 5th floor interactive play area. Such a well thought out floor plan, in my opinion! Also on the 7th floor there is a library and there is a kids section on the left hand side. We have found some greatly entertaining books there and can’t wait to go back and read some more. Unfortunately you cannot check out books, you can only read there. But it’s totally worth making time for it. I cannot say enough nice things about this museum: well done Qatar! P.S. it’s free for residents and 50 qrs for non-residents (non-resident kids...
