We had a lovely meal at Duniya Lebanese in Villaggio Mall. The food was excellent and the service was genuinely great. We were a bit nervous as we don’t speak much Arabic, but the staff all spoke English and were very helpful. The menu is also in English, so it was easy to navigate.

There’s a wide variety of dishes, though most revolve around similar meats which they clearly specialise in and do really well. The meat had a delicious smoky flavour, typical of Lebanese cooking.

We started with the hummus, which came with two extra dips and warm, fresh, puffy pita bread. The bread was topped up for free as soon as we finished it, which was a nice touch. Our waiter was great at explaining everything, including the condiments that came with the mains.

Prices are very reasonable, we paid 179 QAR for a starter, two mains, and drinks. Just a small note: no one asked about allergies, and there was sesame on the bread and in one of the dips. Not an issue for us, but worth being aware of.

The restaurant has a modern feel, comfy seating, and we were seated and served quickly. Highly recommend if you’re in the mall and want something authentic...

The Fatoush was incredibly fresh and flavorful, the Saad Lamb Chop was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the Kofta Grill was juicy with that authentic, smoky taste you can’t forget. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of rich, traditional flavors.

A special mention to Manager Ms. Phao for his warm hospitality and excellent service — he made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The entire team was friendly, attentive, and professional.

This place is absolutely stunning and really stands out. The food was delicious, and I’m so glad I picked it to try Lebanese cuisine for the first time. The only downside was the service — it could definitely be better. We went on a weekend afternoon when the restaurant was almost empty, but it still took over 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us.
