Education City Golf Club — Attraction in Al Rayyan

I recently visited Education City Golf Club in Doha for an afternoon driving practice session, and I was thoroughly impressed. Despite the summer heat, the driving range facilities were top-notch—well-maintained, spacious, and thoughtfully designed to suit all skill levels.

What truly stood out to me was the breathtaking view from the range, which added a sense of calm and focus to the session. It’s rare to find such a combination of quality facilities and inspiring surroundings.

The staff were equally commendable—professional, courteous, and ready to assist without being intrusive. Their support made the overall experience seamless and enjoyable.

What a lovely golf course to play. We only played 6 holes but thoroughly enjoyed it. It has a lovely club house with a great golf equipment shop. It's not the cheapest on clothing but some lovely items to purchase. The changing room is very clean and spacious with great showers to use after you have played golf. It has a great driving range with around 40 bays, with around 15 undercover from the sun. The range is well marked out with target and yardage markers. It also has a lovely cafe to have some wonderful food. The staff are just so helpful. This place is well worth a visit. Hope to go back there again when it is a bit cooler and then play 18 holes with a bit of luck. The buggies are great with ice in the cooler boxes on each of the golf buggies. The care, and attention to detail throughout the entire facility, from the practise areas to the Centre of Excellence, the clubhouse, Cafe 34 and the choice of courses, is world class. From the moment you arrive at the club, the staff are welcoming and engaging and only too happy to help you experience what ECGC has to offer.
