I haven't been to this museum in more than 20 years. I've seen some of the best museums in the U.S. so I didn't have high expectations. Boy, was I wrong! The two exhibits we saw were great. Downstairs there is a museum with animals in their natural environments and it's really nicely made. The use of Augmented Reality is clever and enhanced our experience. I would love to see much larger numbers as those tiny dots are very hard to make out. Then, upstairs on the top floor, you can find the Tezaur & Pinacoteca which is a fancy word for saying a collection of paintings. I have to say the Pinacoteca was absolutely exquisite. I must see it again and use the audio tour guide they have available because it needs multiple viewings. All in all, the visit was a huge success. The reptiles inside of the exhibit looked unhappy about being here and if you buy a ticket, you too can experience that same type of disappointment. The woman in reception who sold us the tickets knew we were trying to see the history museum, she forced us to buy tickets to both the history museum and reptile exhibit. We walked through the exhibit, then when we tried to do the historical museum she informed us that that was not open, and no we could not have our money back.
