Cheile Șugăului — Attraction in Bicaz-Chei

well I went with no expectation and had a great trip. the scope was to arrive to the Munticelu mountain peak, and discovered a great view and a cave. :) the first part of the climb is pretty harsh, but afterwards it he gets easier. i arrived at the Munticelu cave, and return to the trail that will take me to Munticelu Ridge. honestly I didn't find the Munticelu peak but found two belvedere views. one is the Munticelu ridge, great view. at descent i took the other route, through the forest. almost at the base i did a left, and climbed once again for half a kilometer on the second belvedere sight. afterwards I climbed to the Sugău stone. great view, a little difficult to descent afterward. i was all by myself. :) great...

If you are just passing through this area JUST STOP HERE!!! This place is absolutely perfect for a quick hike that will take you to some amazing places that you will not regret. The hike for beginners will take a maximum of 2h when a more experienced person could finish in less than 1h. You will get your equipment from the main cottage for a cheap price and up you go!

If you aren’t a hiker, you can visit the Cave “Munticelul” or you could just enjoy the fresh air, the river and the mountains.
