The Museum was inaugurated in 1989 and here you can find a documentary exhibition in honour of Mihai Eminescu, the national poet. You can see books, documents, photographs, texts, 62 photocopies of Mihai Eminescu's manuscripts, original photographs, painting and a sculpture collection. Upstairs is a impressive collection about The History of Romanian Theater, with posters, documents, photographs, personal objects and original costumes worn by the actors in 19th century. Visitors' access is free on the first Sunday of each month.

The Architecture of this building even inside is very interesting, liked it very much. A lot of books of Eminescu is here and other writers. Also cool that a woman and a man explained all details in museum.

Pretty dull especially given the price, there is hardly any meaningful curation, just stuff displayed without any story to them There is a guide of sorts but after asking me where I'm from completely ignored me and then focused on another couple that came in five minutes after me. Not that I needed any guidance, this place is not worth bothering with especially for foreigners who will not understand anything and for whom a few paintings of Romanian dramatists are hardly worth the time

Am reusit sa vizitam rapid pe 1 decembrie (deci gratuit, probabil nu am fi vizitat altfel din cauza unor recenzii de aici) - este o colectie mica, fara multe explicatii, insa deosebit de interesanta pentru iubitorii de teatru si junimism. Pentru ca se afla jn Parcul Copou, muzeul poate fi usor inclus in itinerariul unui turist. Aproape se afla si Casa Junimii (Vasile Pogor), care este de neratat.

J'ai aimé l'expérience, j'ai appris de nouvelles choses sur l'histoire du théâtre roumain, le guide m'a donné des informations détaillées sur les expositions et sur l'histoire du théâtre, mais je n'ai pas vraiment pu prendre de photos car des frais séparés sont facturés. Je vous recommande également de visiter ce musée !

În aceeași clădire în care se află Muzeul Mihai Eminescu, vizitatorii au posibilitatea de a admira și afla, istoria teatrului românesc din Iași. Aici sunt expuse diverse piese de mobilier, haine și alte obiecte de recuzită folosită de către actori pe scena teatrului ieșean.
