It was a wonderful, freezing, sunny day. The place, and view, well deserve 5 stars, unfortunately everything else doesn't. Not enough parking places, which isn't a big surprise for skiing slopes in Romania. We had to carry our gear to reach the ski lift area, but that was not the surprise. There is a total lack of organisation, first of all there was a huge queue to get tickets, which intersected with the slope! Everyone coming down the slope had to pass the ticket queue, which I consider to be dangerous. Although there was huge queue, there was only one cashier handing out tickets. Another bothering fact was that although prices were available online and openly displayed on the cashier window, when you wanted to buy a certain ticket option, you found out that is actually not available for that day particularly. Exceptionally bothering after more than half an hour waiting in line. Still we decided to enjoy our ski trip and had a go. Everything else was pretty good, the scenery is awesome, the slope is fun, medium to difficult, but you can definitely enjoy riding your skies or boards here. Hopefully this review will help everyone, including those who manage the slope. :) no hard feelings guys :)

Parking tax is high (20 RON) but it is never cleaned, it is covered in thick ice, so watch out when walking to and from the car, unless you want broken bones. The same goes on the path from the parking. This kind of disrespect for the tourists is appalling, hence the 3 star penalty. The slopes themselves are ok...ish, but you need different passes/tickets for the two skilifts that are otherwise close to each other. The personnel selling tickets is unfriendly and/or annoyed by literally anything, their attitude is like "why are you bothering me?". The two skilifts serve different slopes that are practically right next to each other and delimited by a fence! This primitive rivalry is laughable. 10 years have passed since I've been here last time, nothing seems to have changed in the meanwhile. On the bright side, the ski instructors seemed friendly, helpful and enjoyed working with kids. In the restaurant no tourist wore a mask and nobody seemed to be bothered by it, not even the personnel that did wear one. I don't think I will come back here in the near future.

I've been here 3 times, so this review is based solely on my overall experience: the track itself was always in good condition, not too crowded, but there are very very few parking spots. You'll most likely have to leave your car on the side of the road if the snow was removed. There aren't very many options in regards to food and beverages, but all of them have decent prices. Also, you'll have to go to one of these places if you need to use a bathroom because I never found any public toilets. The lighting is good if you want to ski after nightfall and I highly recommend you take advantage of that.
