Deși am prins vreme ploioasă, tot a meritat drumul. Se poate merge ușor pe jos prind pădure dacă permite vremea. Am văzut și căprioare în pădure, iarăși dacă se merge în liniște. Stejarii sunt în mare parte mari și e o rezervație unică în țară.

Loc de poveste, in orice anotimp. Drumul este prost doar la intrare, in rest acceptabil (venind dinspre drumul Sighisoara-Danes, pe unde recomanda Google Maps). Se poate ajunge pe jos si din Sighisoara, de pe strada Ana Ipatescu (traseu scurt).

Loc de poveste, in orice anotimp. Drumul este prost doar la intrare, in rest acceptabil (venind dinspre drumul Sighisoara-Danes, pe unde recomanda Google Maps). Se poate ajunge pe jos si din Sighisoara, de pe strada Ana Ipatescu (traseu scurt).

Who's the one who takes a detour just to see some trees? "Not me!" I was thinking. Luckily my wife was convincing enough to take me there. Wow! What a view! Impressive 200-500 years old oaks, true nature view and sound. One can hear woodpeckers, try to embrace trees (you have to be more than 3 persons for the big ones) just for fun, take a walk on the road (a wild road, where you can drive with any car - you don't need an offroad). Really nice experience, beautiful scenery of 800 yo oak trees. The trail is very long since it's part of the Transilvania trail so you can virtually walk as much as you want. It's a little bit difficult to get in, and there is not real parking place at the bottom of the trail. Some of the think described on the board actually cannot be find. Very good for a one day hiking with...

SENSATIONAL... one of the greatest views and nature sightseeings I have ever whitnessed!!!

TRULLY IMPRESIVE

Easy to reach, at the entrance in the Medieval City of Sighișoara, on the road from Mediaș & Daneș... you can go by car up there... and the plateau you find in 5-10 minutes, WOOOW!!!
