We wanted to visit this museum several times so far, but it was public holiday or Monday. We were the first guests after reopening in June, so safety measures were taken. The museum is managed in a modern manner and it is visible through the way the exhibits are displayed. The area is full of events and archaeological discoveries. Many rooms for old history, 1 very rich for up to early 20th century and one for Ratiu family, which is kind of the only Romanian perspective on Turda. Nothing on the wars of 20th century (Great Union, losing the North of Transylvania up to Turda actually) or communist times. The panels are very nicely done. Read moreExcellent organized museum ( explanations are also in english). You can learn the history of the Turda town, and find many historical pieces and places around, for future visits. The problem is that the museum has not a parking lot, so you have to search for a parking place. I was searching for more than 30 minutes before to find something. The city has many one-way roads so you can get lost easy. Don't miss this museum, it's an excellent place to stop and enjoy.
