This is an amazing place to spend an hour or two if you're in Yakutsk. We visited during December of 2015.. of course it was much colder outside at -48°C than inside the Permafrost Kingdom (-15°C). It was a real treat to be shown around by Chys Khan's (keeper of the frost) daughter.. the prettiest girl in Yakutia! Simply a must visit if you come to Yakutsk! A great collection of ice sculptures, in a labyrinth like place, digged into the permafrost (the lower level of the ground that is permanently frozen throughout the year). The place is simply marvelous, and makes you feel like you enter another world! The staff is very friendly, helpful, and English speaking too!
