A nice secluded beach with a view of Petit Piton on the left.
Sand isn't as white as the beaches north of the island because of the Pitons. So if your looking for turquoise waters - go north. However, the waters are nice and there are slight ocean waves. Definitely nice enough to swim.
The beach chairs are rentals from the restaurant, Martha's Tables. The location of the restaurant is a nice addition to the beach allowing you to see the beach and sunset.
If you decide to drive, follow the road for Sugar beach. Once you pass a bridge, you'll see a security building with open gates. You can drive through it slowly as the road is unpaved. There are about 6 parking spaces for the beach...

You can rent beach chairs for $15-20 from the Paradise Hotel, or walk further down the beach and lounge at your leisure. (If you rent through Paradise, they provide drink and food service to your chairs, which is pretty great.) Snorkeling along the Piton wall was really great. Note that there are boats coming in and out of this beach so if you are snorkeling, wear bright colors or have some sort of flag/float that is easy to see.
