Stunning surroundings, the majestic Piton in full view. What a beautiful sight. The food was so, so nice. Ordered a fish roti, which was served with a side salad. Bursting with flavour, it was just the best. Little visits from the little birds made it even more of a beautiful place, with the odd mango tree (I mean, they are everywhere). The only downside was the length of time it took for the meal to arrive. But, I won't mark them down for this, as it was worth the wait. It was my first visit, and it definitely will not be my last. Thank you for your service and food, and we thank the creator for the scenery Ok, update.. It's my second visit (22/04/23), and I loved it! 😍 Please support this beautiful business ❤️

The Mango Tree restaurant was wonderful. The views are incredible and live music at night was perfect. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because dinner service lacked in staffing. Gibson the server was awesome and hardworking but usually overwhelmed with 10 tables to himself. One night it took almost an hour and a half to receive our meal (soup and one of their vegan options). Breakfast was our favorite part of the day. Every morning there was a perfect view of a rainbow by our table. Ancia was great at adding a personalized touch by memorizing our drinks and villa name. I loved that the menu changed slightly day to day depending on what was fresh from the property. Overall a great restaurant with tasty food!

This is a gorgeous location to have lunch or dinner. We went in early to catch the sunset. It was perfectly situated overlooking the piton. The cocktail was sugary but good. We were able to take some great shots and enjoy the view. We had a dinner reservation but the service was very slow. We got our food after almost 2 hrs since our reserved time. However the food was delicious. I had the goat curry which was yum. The shrimp grilled and carrot soup was also good. The family had chicken which was okay. The service was slow and even getting attention of the service staff was a task. But otherwise worth it to visit for the amazing views and the yum goat curry.

Trying to remain objective in this review and simply stating facts. Arrived a couple minutes before the first seating (630pm) and were immediately led to the table where we quickly received water and bread. The views and ambiance are fantastic. Then…..30 minutes, not 10, 20 but 30 minutes before our server came to the table. (6 tables of 2 ppl total) Should have pulled the ripcord and left but I didn’t want to be “an American” and appear rude in any way. Server arrives, No introduction or perfunctory niceties. “Do you know what you want to order”. At this point ordering a cocktail without ordering dinner seemed unwise. So, the menu presented 3 appetizer options and 3 entree options. Remember, first seating, not later seating, not because you were too late for something awesome. Only 2 menu options were available for both the appetizer and the entree. The other options “were not ready yet”. Hmmm? First time presenting rib app and goat stew entree??? Not ready for 1 of 3 menu items for Sunday dinner? Not a supply chain issue, which is always understandable in these destinations. Service at Mango was deplorable. No evidence of effective training, efficiency or concern about the guest experience. Will finish by giving credit to chef’s cream sauce on the seafood linguine. That and the quality of the feta on the salad were the highlights. Not hating, maybe we caught them on a bad night, it happens. I only leave this review so that you may not waste one of your precious dinner opportunities on this lovely island until further recent reviews convince you otherwise. We actually have decided that we are happy that Mango presented this opportunity to serve as a counterbalance for us to more deeply appreciate the other dining experiences that we have had in and...

The mango tree was the absolute worst experience of my trip if St Lucia by far. I have never experienced such racism and rudeness in my life when dining. I would give zero stars if I could My friend and I politely asked to move because birds were eating our food, actually flying into our backs and sitting on the inside of our coffee mugs and drinking out of it. When someone finally came over we explained what happened and that we wanted to move and they said you can just stay here very rudly. They didn't offer us new silverware or ask if we wanted new bread (meanwhile the birds walked and eat all of our bread and touched all of our silverware.) We politely asked if we could have new silverware and they were very annoyed and rude. A few minutes later we were so invaded by birds again and decided we couldn't sit there. We politely went up to where the workers were siting and said we really wanted to move and four workers turned their backs, didn't look up and walked away. A woman that ignored our complaint the first time finally walked over and said "what do you want to do" instead of helping us to another table. We politely said we feel uncomfortable and would just like to pay for our food and leave (even though we hadn't r received our food yet.) Another woman came and said I won't make you pay for food you didnt eat, but the worst part was they shorted our change 50 American dollars. Even though I should have stood up for myself, they were so rude and intimidating my gut said let it go because I was actually worried about a retailiation. I've read great reviews on this place, so I'm not sure whether we just had bad luck but we were very polite and respectful towards them but we got the opposite in return. Do...

This place was recommended to have our anniversary dinner. That was bad. Our resort called the establishment while we were standing there and explained the occasion. This reservation was made 48 hours prior. When we arrived, I noticed a couple of things. The seating arrangement, atmosphere, and energy. They sat us at an undecorative dark table by the pool behind a party of 8. We asked if we could be seated on the terrace. They stated it was full, but we saw 4 empty tables that weren't reserved. Our reservations were for 730pm. I was so disappointed. My husband wanted to leave and started texting our driver what was the last seating for any other restaurants. We were too far away to get there in time. This was a mistake to come there. The menu selections were trash. There are not many to choose from. They served us 1 small piece of bread each with some hard cold butter that did not spread well. It was like this is the leftover from breakfast use this. I ordered the lamb, and my husband ordered the seafood pasta. His seafood pasta presentation was beautiful, but the calamari was overcooked and snapped like rubber. My lamb was cooked correctly. How I loved it, but I had to turn the flash to my phone to see. I was so extremely upset. But what made the situation worse was 20 mins after we were seated. Some Randoms that weren't dressed up were seated on the terrace where we we requested. No one left from the "it's full" placement. I was ready to go afterward. I would Not recommend this place to eat...
