It was a random trip on ramadan with my friends. They asked me to have a camping at Sapo Juma. I thought it would be in the middle of jungle, but turned out it was a quite large yard which could fit about 5 camps provided by the management of Sapo Juma Homestay. So if you, especially Medanese people who is bored with the weekend activities in Medan, having a camping here is quite interesting. You don't need to bring anything, just contact them and they gonna prepare for the camp for you....
Read moreThis place offers new point of Toba lake viewing, which is beautifull from everywhere, anyways. It is nice to take pictures here. There is also a restaurant and a little flower garden.
The road is smooth and we can go there from Merek-Sidikalang road (Gajah bobok way) and the sipiso piso way (turn right after tongging-sipiso piso junction)
The food is not very special, and the weather is very chill.

They also have homestay but don't know available for public or not. They serve seafood menu but I don't think it is worth it. The taste is just so so. The price is a little bit more expensive. They also serve local coffee, the taste is so so. Don't get cheat by the durian seller around here. The durian's taste is not good and expensive. Entrance fee is applied....
