I have been to Escape The Room SA with my friends four times in the course of about two months. I played Nightmare, The Prison, Saw, & Mafia. Saw was out favorite. I absolutely loved the puzzles and the rooms were all well crafted. Employees are nice and gamemasters give convincing introductions fitting to the themes of the rooms. This is without a doubt the most fun activity I've done with my friends without traveling far.
Now, I've had my review set to 5 stars for about a month because we never had any issues and had a lot of fun every time. Even not succeeding in solving all of the rooms was fun. We enjoyed having conversations about what went wrong and what we can do better the next time(s).
I wrote this right after leaving the Mafia room and lowered it to 4. The experience was not smooth at all, nothing felt like it was going as planned. Not long after the game started, the monitor disconnected and stopped showing the remaining time, and the music also stopped. Anyone in our place, surely, would think there was a malfunction and the game paused. When everything stopped, so did we. This was the first time it happened so we just stood still and waited for the gamemaster since we thought we were finished with the tasks at hand and nothing was happening due to the malfunction. About 10 minutes went by and the monitor came back on, and we saw the time was still running. The game went on as if nothing ever happened, but the clock was always running. We honestly felt abandoned by the gamemaster because this particular step require a person on the other end to confirm that we did the puzzle. So that while time we lost, no one was watching to confirm or deny we did the puzzle right. The second everything came back on, the next part played out and it also needed a person on the other end to participate.
Honestly, an apology for the obvious error on their end would've done it for me, but they handled it awfully and disregarded everything we said. We were told that the monitor was not even a part of the game and we just "didn't do it right anyways". No, I say the monitor being off for about TEN WHOLE MINUTES means that no one was the acting room administrator or gamemaster for a pretty big portion for a rather expensive experience. And I think they knew that because we never saw the same gamemaster again.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this place , and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we stepped into the room, we were completely immersed in the brilliantly crafted theme.
