Review for Tikia Resort, Dammam ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ I recently had the opportunity to visit Tikia Resort in Dammam, and I must say that it offers a fantastic experience! The location right by the sea is simply breathtaking, providing a beautiful backdrop for family outings or gatherings with friends. The resort boasts a variety of restaurants and cafes, catering to diverse tastes, and the lounge area for shisha adds a nice touch for those looking to relax and unwind. The family-friendly amenities, including spaces for kids, make it an ideal spot for parents wanting to enjoy a meal while knowing their children are entertained. The coffee shop is also a great place to grab a quick drink and soak in the ambiance. However, there is a significant concern regarding the entry fee policy. I found it quite frustrating that visitors are charged an entry fee even when planning to use the resort’s restaurants and facilities. This effectively means that guests are paying twice—once for entry and then for the food and drinks. For example, enjoying shisha on weekends at additional cost of 29 SAR per person, or a plate of burger that could already be priced higher, can be a deterrent for many potential visitors when adding entry fees per person Despite this barrier, I believe Tikia Resort has immense potential. It is an awesome place with a lot to offer, and I'm sharing this feedback with management in hopes that a solution can be found to make it more accessible for everyone. With a bit of adjustment in their pricing structure, this resort could become a go-to destination for many in Dammam. Overall, I highly recommend experiencing Tikia Resort for its lovely atmosphere and delightful offerings, but I hope future visits are made...
Read moreI recently dined at Takya, a restaurant located on the beach, for a Ramadan buffet. Unfortunately, my experience was quite underwhelming. The food was cold, the portions were small, and there was a lack of variety in the dessert and drink options.
I tried the tabbouleh, which was missing the zesty flavors of lemon and salt that are typically found in this dish. The hummus was mediocre and lacked the depth of flavor that I was expecting. The rice and lamb were both cold, and the lamb was not tender which detracted from the overall taste and texture of the dish.
Although the atmosphere of Takya was pleasant and had a nice vibe, the ticket price plus additional costs for food and drinks felt expensive for the quality of the food provided. Additionally, the small portion sizes and lack of variety in the dessert and drink options did not justify the high price.
Overall, I was disappointed with my dining experience at Takya. While the atmosphere was pleasant, the cold and mediocre food, small portion sizes, and lack of variety in the dessert and drink options did not meet my expectations. If you're looking for a family outing, I would recommend exploring other options before...
Read moreI don't know why there is an entrance fee? At a value of 39 riyals per person... the evil of misfortune does not laugh. The problem is that there is nothing in the place that would merit paying an entrance fee... The thing in short is that they have dim lighting with only light trees, and inside it there are very bad and unknown coffee shops... I can sit on the corniche and enjoy the sea without... I will never pay 35 riyals for a place that is not good. Exploitative projects like this always end in failure and will be closed. Unfortunately, there is nothing that would attract a visitor to...
