The area that can accommodate 120,000 people and has a parking lot for 3,000 cars is also equipped with many facilities including 100 bathrooms, restaurants, retail outlets, hotels, aquarium, cultural centre, water dancing fountain, blossoming gardens, fountains, kiosks, phone charging stations, children's play parks, beaches and facilities for people with disabilities.citation needed] Jeddah Waterfront is organized in a way that makes it suitable and enjoyable for people of different ages and interests. The Jeddah Corniche, also known as the Jeddah Waterfront (JW), is a 30 km coastal resort area of the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Located along the Red Sea, the corniche features a coastal road, recreation areas, pavilions and large-scale civic sculptures as well as King Fahd's Fountain, the highest fountain in the world. Also located here is the Al-Rahmah Mosque (formerly known as the Fatimah Mosque), which is a popular attraction to visitors.[1]

The Jeddah Corniche derives its name from the original French and Italian term for a coastal road, especially a road along the face of a cliff.[citation needed] It is divided into a number of areas some of them are allocated for children to play safely and others are designed for athletes and those who want to exercise outdoors. Moreover, Jeddah Waterfront has three sandy beaches where people can swim and enjoy the warm sun of Jeddah. There are also many spots that are planted with grass where families and friends can meet. People can also use the 25 huts scattered in different spots. The three sandy beaches designed for swimmers are fronted with man-made islands that are given the shape of a crescent moon and planted with palms trees. A man-made island formed in the shape of a crescent moon has been planted with dozens of palm trees. Jeddah Waterfront is also equipped with a hundred surveillance cameras as well as Wi-Fi service.[6

The Jeddah Corniche Circuit, which hosted the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on 5 December 2021, is located here.[8] There were plans to move the race to Qiddiya by 2023. However, it was confirmed that the race would stay in Jeddah instead of going to Qiddiya as...

It is a nice cozy beach. You would need a membership to get access or be invited by a member (via coupons). The beach: Its not that big, but it is fine. Bit rocky on the shore, needs to be cleaned up. Water is not too deep in the 1st 15meters, maybe 1.5m deep. Then gets bit more deep until the yellow line. That will always depend on the tide. There is a bar just at entrance of sandy beach where you can order drinks and food to your hut. Then there is a section that is further upfront for diving, where you can register for classes, rent equipment, etc... Pool: Nice big pool, not deep. Mostly filled by kids during weekend. Open sapce: There is a beach volleyball court. Around it people play lots of other sports, like football, rackets.... Also on weekends there is a DJ. Restaurant: Indoor and outdoor seating. Food is good and prices are fair. Toilets: Clean most of the time.

All in all a good resort to hang out during weekends in Jeddah. Nice groups of people. Just remember, photography is...

I understand why it is cheaper than its counterparts. I paid SAR 1,000 for 10 visit "family card". First visit, my wife and myself were allowed. Ssecond visit, my wife was not allowed on my card. We asked to apply for her own card, and were dismissed. Apparently the first time the Syrian at the counter thought my wife was my girlfriend and was doing me a a favor... he ended up checking our marriage certificate twice but did not change his mind.

Arrogant and aggressive staff.

Decently clean beach, but as expected from a private beach.

Food and drinks are average at best (and of course excessively marked up)

As a man who is sun sentivite, I was prohibited from wearing a surfer top to protect my skin. My wife was also stopped from entering the water unless she removed her top (ironic one would think).

Does not accept card payments, and I am sure there is VAT evasion as I have not received any...

First time here, and it was a decent experience. Albeit an expensive entrance fee, sitting at 175 riyals, it wasn't a bad experience. Came here with my cousin and enjoyed myself at the beach. A big positive was the clean sand! No big rocks to trip over or step on. The seats there are also clean, as the workers were constantly rinsing off the beach seats. The bar/hut was nice, especially the worker there, he's a funny guy. The seatings are also nice due to being able to leave your stuff there without worry of it getting stolen/damaged.

La Plage’s diving point is a fantastic spot, and it truly stands out as one of the oldest and most trusted places for diving. The highly skilled instructors there make the experience safe and enjoyable, whether you’re a beginner or experienced diver. On top of that, the facilities are great – there’s even a small restaurant serving hot and cold drinks and some tasty sandwiches. What really makes the place special, though, is the warm and friendly atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you feel welcome the moment you arrive.

Nice experience. Once you there , you feel no difference with any other beach in the world in terms of vibe and limitations. The place is really worse to visit in Jeddah. Beach is 5/5 Water 4/5 (some stones are under water) Service 5/5 Price 5/5 Also diving club is there (diving, snorkeling, training and even certification if needed) , with welcoming manager Available hotel rooms to stay PS not worse to pay for parking, since you are paying only for vallet, your car anyway will be parked outside
