Most important. It's closed by 9 am. Please confirm the timings before the visit. Very cold water and refreshing but you are not allowed to bring your own bottles, they will take your bottles on enterence and sell their own traditional bottles. I put the QR code for assistance and in details information. Entry is free, but visitors note there may be a 15–30 minute wait, and security restricts filling bottles directly, though water dispensers exist onsite . 📍Location & Access Located at 6539 Ali Ibn Abi Talib Street, Qurban, Madinah 42316, Saudi Arabia . Approximately 1,500 m northeast of Quba Mosque, in the Al‑Awali neighbourhood along Qurban Road . Visiting Hours: Typically open daily from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (some sources say 9 PM closing) with breaks midday and early evening . 🛖 Story of Prophet Suleiman (Suleman) and Farming You asked for a memorable and positive farming story involving Prophet Suleman (Solomon). Here's a well-known inspirational account: 🌾 The Wise Farmer and King Suleman Once, Prophet Solomon (Sulayman ﷺ) was travelling with his grand caravan. They passed a farmer toiling under the sun. Allah inspired Solomon to stop and ask the man what he intended to say. The farmer shared that while Solomon is responsible for all in his kingdom, he himself is only accountable to Allah for his own deeds—and this brought him inner peace. Solomon responded: “You are right.” . Lesson: True contentment lies in fulfilling one’s personal responsibilities—not being burdened by what does not belong to us. It beautifully illustrates humility, reflection, self-accountability, and partnership with Allah in good deeds. 🧑‍🌾 Other Agrarian Lessons in Islamic Teachings A notable Hadith in Sahih al‑Bukhari describes a man in Jannah asking to cultivate land. Allah grants him permission, and within an instant, his harvest grows into mountains of produce. Yet Allah reminds him: “Nothing satisfies you.” This underscores the eternal nature of human desire—even in paradise . Companions such as Umar ibn al‑Khattab are reported to have personally engaged in farming, encouraging self-sufficiency and meaningful labour in Allah’s cause . 📝 Summary Table Topic Key Points free entry but with some queueing and water restrictions Farming Story Solomon meets a humble farmer who finds peace in focusing on personal accountability Prophetic Farming Theme Cultivation is praised in both Hadith and Companions’ practice—reflecting reward in sincere, purposeful work

Stepping into the serene surroundings of Ghars Well in Madinah feels like walking through the pages of Islamic history. This ancient well, deeply cherished by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is not just a source of water but a living testament to his legacy. The Prophet drank from its blessed waters, performed ablution here, and even requested to be washed with its water after his passing—a reflection of its spiritual significance. The Experience The well, located in the Al-Awali neighborhood, about 1.5 km northeast of Quba Mosque, is a tranquil retreat from the bustling city. Upon arrival, visitors may need to wait 10-15 minutes at the entrance, especially during peak hours, as the site maintains a respectful flow of pilgrims. Unlike other sacred wells, personal water bottles are not allowed here, preserving the sanctity of the space. Instead, you can purchase a traditional clay pot on-site—a beautiful, eco-friendly way to collect and drink the blessed water, just as the early Muslims might have done. The Water & Spiritual Connection The water of Ghars Well is described as smooth, fresh, and refreshing, carrying a sense of purity that transcends its physical taste. Many visitors report feeling a deep spiritual uplift after drinking from it, as if the water carries the blessings of the Prophet’s connection to this land. According to Islamic tradition, the well is believed to have healing and purifying properties, making it a must-visit for those seeking both physical and spiritual rejuvenation. How to Get There Ghars Well is easily accessible by taxi, with many drivers familiar with its location near Ali Ibn Abi Talib Road. The well is open daily from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, allowing ample time for reflection and prayer. Final Thoughts Visiting Ghars Well is more than just a stop on a pilgrimage—it’s a moment to connect with history, faith, and the enduring legacy of the Prophet (PBUH). The short wait, the prohibition of plastic bottles, and the option to use a clay pot all add to the authenticity of the experience. If you’re in Madinah, this sacred well is a must-visit, offering not just water, but a taste of divine tranquility. May your visit be filled with blessings and reflection. 🌿💧

Ghars Well (Arabic: بئر غرس), located near the city of Medina, is one of the historically significant wells associated with the life of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). It is particularly revered because, according to authentic hadiths, the Prophet (ﷺ) drank from this well and even expressed a wish that he be bathed with its water after his passing. The well itself is modest in appearance, surrounded by a simple protective structure. While not a grand site in terms of architecture or tourist infrastructure, Ghars Well holds deep spiritual value for those familiar with its legacy. It stands as a quiet witness to the Prophet’s daily life and habits in Medina. Visiting the well offers a unique sense of closeness to the Seerah (biography) of the Prophet, connecting pilgrims to his personal moments and preferences. Unfortunately, the site is not widely promoted or easily accessible like other historical landmarks in Medina. Many pilgrims miss visiting it due to a lack of awareness. However, those who do make the effort to see it often find it deeply moving and reflective. The tranquility of the site allows for peaceful contemplation and du'a (supplication). The well is maintained by local authorities, but it could benefit from more preservation efforts and informative signage for visitors. Overall, Ghars Well is a hidden gem of Islamic heritage in Medina—simple in appearance, yet profound in meaning. For anyone interested in the personal aspects of the Prophet’s life, it is a must-visit spiritual landmark
