As I walked into the heart of Al Diryiah, I was star-struck. My eyes were filled with scenery of shades of light brown square shaped mud brick-buildings, each one felt cool and rough to the hands. with sturdy wooden windows and doors in each one. followed by a stone path connecting to all the places I wish to go to, with palm trees standing high above each block delivering a beautiful breezy smell, and feeling of home to Al Diriyah.
I arrived at the main area filled with Cafes, restaurants. And stores of Abayas, oud, and traditional gold jewelry. The oud fragrances filled the air with a deep rich scent that felt like the royal history of Saudi Arabia. As I walked through the cafes one named “cafe bateel” pulled me in with its amazing arabic coffee smell. I drank the amazing rich coffee, and the sweet soft dates as I was sitting and admiring the view of the mighty, strong buildings. The atmosphere was full of peace, especially with a man dressed in traditional saudi clothing, playing the Lute with an amazing string rhythm in the background. Al Diriyah Was a place full of history, and luxury. Everything and everyone were welcoming and friendly, it was an amazing experience and would go any other day...

The smell of saudi coffee of course and fresh bread and oud filled the air as I walked through the building that was made of mud bricks in shades of light beige and brown. They looked old but solid with simple beautiful shapes and clean lines, like a beautiful painting and it reminded me of when I went on a field trip when I was 10.
I could hear the soft music in the background blending with the sound of people talking and the breeze moving through the palm trees, one of my favorite views. I saw shops selling clothes and handmade pots and many vintage things to decorate my living room with.
At the end I stopped to eat jareesh (it was creamy and warm and perfectly spiced,so comforting ) because I was craving one so bad along with other food and Saudi coffee with Kleicha the flavors were so comforting and well done no one can top Saudi traditional dishes. The place was full of life, it didn’t felt like the usual tourist spot it felt real and full of culture like a place that respects its past while...
