Been here twice, have suggested Google to update the location, since the current one leads you to an empty road, however sharing my experience on how to reach the exact fall of water as shown in lot of pics, once you have travelled around 45 kms from Riyadh , after taking U turn on highway , keep extreme right and there will be a patrol vehicle parked, that's a landmark to take right and enter single road towards the park. Once you are on the single way you will find three roundabouts, I suggest you to take right from first and second roundabouts and at the dead end of the road you will have the aerial view of whole lake r water flow so just keep vehicle running ..enjoy the aerial view and get started towards another roundabout, At THIRD roundabout you will find a visitor center built .. that's cue to the base of mountain, camping and have up-close experience with the water flow. Once you take right from visitor center again drive along the lake for apprx 500-800 meters to view the fall of water.

Points to make a note

• Do not have hopes on getting into water and clicking pics at the fall of water as depicted in earlier pics, since now there is an authority vehicle which strictly prohibits anyone from even getting your feet wet.
• Carry your snacks/lunch and camping equipment as there are 0 vendors yet. -Washrooms have been opened , there are 3 in total with around 300-400 mts distance, so better park and camp within close vicinity of washroom especially with kids and given its winter. :)
• weekends is as usual crowded , suggest to visit early and leave early after Asr (to avoid the traffic congestion while coming out of lake area due to too many vehicles will be coming in and out and less space to change direction for cars, also the traffic in city would be heavy)
• Open fire is allowed so can BBQ
• Kids will have ample space to play with bikes, skates as well.
• You can do hiking on the little mountains

Lake park is one of the best mini picnic spot in Riyadh.

If you are in Riyadh with family then it is a must visit place.

You can see the fast moving water flow like a river, water is a waste water only.

Take water, snacks, food whatever needed, there is no shops near by area.

Parking is also a bit concern if you are late means, try to be there before 3 to get prime parking

You can feeds the fishes, if you have anything for them.

Reaching the main spot, near to water is bit tricky, take the 1st right itself to reach to the water.

If you keep going then you will reach the view points.

If you have kids then take cycle with you for them, surely they will enjoy a lot

Take barbecue sets and cook chicken and fish and enjoy freshly cooked food.

Separate toilets are available, no issues on that.

Try to come and go in the daylight itself, in a particular 10kms there will be no street lights.

Enjoy either sunset or sunrise which will be so pleasent to watch.
