Village Des Arts — Attraction in Dakar

Hidden gem of Dakar 😍 Village of Arts is a small community built by Senegalese artists in Dakar. 👩🏿‍🎨🏘👨🏿‍🎨 I just decided to explore this secluded area and couldn't believe my eyes. 🎨 Every artists has his/her own small studio and some of them live there. I was welcome very warmly and was offered coffee many times. I only decided to visit on the spur of the moment, and I'm so glad I did - all the artists made me feel welcome, and were more than happy to invite me into their workshops and take the time to chat about their work. The art exhibited in the gallery is stunning, but the artworks scattered throughout the village are equally as good, equally as thought-provoking.
