Visited several times, and at first the rhythm was steady — warm welcomes, smiles of ease, food and drink that land beautifully. Until it shifted. One evening I asked for Thieboudienne, only to be told it was a lunch dish. I noted it, chose another plate. On the next visit, arriving near noon, I asked again — and was told simply it was not available, with attention redirected toward what was on offer. That time I chose to leave.

Returned once more, ordering poulet braisé and a Caesar salad. The chicken had clearly been grilled earlier in the day, then reheated until very dry. The breaded chicken atop the salad was served cold. Most of the plate stayed untouched, except for the frites, which were the only bright point of the meal. To close, I went to the bar for the only one drink ever ordered there — this time it was watered down, missing its body, its balance, its intended flavor.

The menu leans pricey for what was delivered on my last visit (children’s dishes are the only item under 6,000 CFA).
