If you're looking for a peaceful and budget-friendly destination to spend quality time with your family, this nature retreat is a great choice. It offers a lovely outdoor area with various attractions that will appeal to kids and adults.

As you enter, you'll be greeted by a charming natural setting filled with various animals like ducks, swans, turtles, and a variety of birds. It's a treat for nature lovers; kids will enjoy observing and interacting with animals.

The entrance fee is affordable, making it accessible to everyone. The retreat features beautiful lakes with picturesque flora, providing a serene backdrop for fishing or enjoying a leisurely boat ride.

Families with children will appreciate the open playground, where kids can have fun and burn off some energy. Plenty of benches and tables are available throughout the area, making it easy to find a comfortable spot for a picnic.

While it's unfortunate that there aren't any food options available on-site, you can purchase coffee and beverages to quench your thirst and enjoy a hot cup of coffee while you relax in nature.

Keep in mind that the retreat closes at 16:00, so plan your visit accordingly to make the most of your time there. Despite this limitation, it remains an excellent choice for a weekend picnic with your family.

In summary, this family-friendly nature retreat offers a tranquil outdoor space with animals, lakes, a playground, and ample seating for a pleasant picnic experience. While food options are limited and the closing time is relatively early, it's still a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy nature with...

A fantastic place for a picnic or a quick get-away from the city hustle. Great for kids. There is a small aquarium with various fish which live in the Danube river, mini-zoo with various types of birds and domestic animals, representation of fisherman houses in beautiful islands, ponds for fishing, one pond for rowing boats, and a lot of educational content. There is a projection room where educational movies are played, and also a stage for small performances. A true highlight is representation of pre-historic habitats of Serbia, alongside Danube river - from the most early caves, through Lepenski Vir, Starcevo, and similar settlements. There is a nice playgroung with a big boat for kids, and a lot of free surfaces for playing with kids. There is only one toilet, but it was not crowded when we visited. No food available at site, only coffee and drinks, but we saw a lot of people bringing their own drinks, sandwiches and snacks. The closest place for a full meal is Hotel Radmilovac, which is right next to Mali Dunav, which looks great and has tasty food. As expected, it is a medium to above average, in terms of how...

It was a fantastic day, extraordinary place and nice weather. It is called "Mali Dunav" ("Little Danube"). Center for Fishing & Applied Hydrobiology , a scientific & educational park for big & little researchers, for all who like water & live world in water & around water. A space where you can get new knowledge & skills or simply enjoy yourselves. The name "Mali Dunav" originates from the river Danube, which is the inspiration of its creators: professors, assistants & students under the management of the University of Beograd, Faculty of Agriculture & Experimental Complex Radmilovac. The Greek choir in Beograd went there to celebrate the Annual Jubilee (although we didn't have rehearsals during the Corona period, but wanted to celebrate outdoors). And that Sunday there was an Oldtimera Festival, too. So the atmosphere was excellent, relaxing,...

Wow! The words can't describe this place, you just have to come and see. True nature for relaxation, but besides you can learn a lot of things too. Everything about locar fishes from this area, from prehistoric time till today. There is even small exhibit houses from that time, like fisherman's house, prehistoric village with "furniture", and interior, climbing till more modern history. There, are also islands with small zoo's of different animals and birds. You can drink coffee and beverages, but you can't eat. The entrance is about 1.7e per person, and it is open till 20 of October.

Wonderful nature with a lot of different insects and animals of educational character. Cleanliness is taken care of. Bins at every turn. The possibility of visiting large groups and celebrating birthdays at the same time without spoiling the whole landscape and atmosphere (there were two groups on the excursion of elementary school students and one birthday). In that space, there are also intimate corners for fishing, sunbathing, picnicking, and independent boating. The chirping of birds was absolutely lovely.
