Kot Man-Ya Exotic Flower Garden

Amazing place! So many beautiful and rare species of flowers, endemic ferns and trees. Enjoyed this visit very much. Marc, the owner, was so kind and made an interesting excursion for us, showing his wonderful plants, pets (tortoises, rabbits, goats, etc), and even a little exhibition in his own apartments. He told us so many exciting things about each plant in his collection, and even cut some fruits, seeds and flowers to show us! And the plant range is just exciting!! Heliconias, gingers, bananas, orchid tree, lipstick tree and many many others... and what’s more, strongilodon (jade vine)! Wow! It would be a perfect place to go for a plant lover....

So we got married yesterday and this was my Number 1 to go to post wedding. We were not disappointed. What an absolute honour and privilege to be given a tour by Marc who has led an amazing life, he is so humble and knowledgeable and passionate about conservation, he is a Seychellois national treasure and I don't say this lightly, the man is a pure diamond. We had an amazing experience, its our 2nd visit to Seychelles and this is definitely our number 1 experience. Thank you so much Marc and family for being u forgettable hosts and for sharing your...

This was a highlight of the trip, we were given a tour by Marc and he was so insightful and interesting. He showed us around his house and talked about traditional Seychellois houses and lifestyle. Afterwards he showed us around his garden, giving us a personal tour explaining each plant, where they grow, when their season is, what medicinal properties/uses they have (if they have them) which was so interesting to hear. Marc was so passionate about the gardens which was captivating to listen to.
