This park offer a bird’s eye view of Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West. You can make your way to the top of the park through various entry points from Avenue 6, 5, 4 and 3. Just be prepared for the climb up and get to enjoy walking under the shades from thick forested trees. On 26 Dec 2019, the park provided a great spot to public to enjoy and observe the annular solar eclipse. The eclipse started around 11am and lasted several hours. People mingled and chatted causally whilst admiring this rare astronomical phenomenal . People shared their solar glasses and some brought their home made devices to view solar eclipse. Whether you come to the park to watch an eclipse, take a jog or stroll you get to enjoy the serenity and savor the lush greenery this park has to offer. Besides, it is just a stone throw away from surrounding eateries offering good food. Go and check it out. By the way the park is a part of the 36km Coast-to-Coast Trail. Read moreANG MO KIO TOWN GARDEN WEST was a rather huge park by local standards. And it felt as if I was climbing up Bukit Timah Hill when I climbed the steep slopes of the park. So be sure that you wear shoes that have a good solid grip. Overall, I would say that this park is the larger version of Garden Hill Park (see my Google review under “Garden Hill Park).
