I’ve been with Caring Skin for 4 months now, having started in June 2024. When I first signed up for the package and completed my trial facial, they requested that I leave a Google review, but at the time, I felt it was too early to give a proper and honest review.

Now, after attending 5 sessions, I’m ready to share a genuine review (this is unpaid, by the way I’ve used my hard earned money to care for my acne-prone skin).

During my trial session, Ms. Jess took the time to walk me through all the available packages. She also provided helpful skin care tips, and I learned something new; just because I have oily skin doesn’t mean I should always rely on oil-control products, using hydrating skincare could help.

Moving on, since my skin is acne-prone, extractions can be quite painful for me, no matter how gentle the therapist/beautician tries to be. I’ll admit, there are times I’ve hesitated to go to my appointments because of the discomfort during extractions. But the rest of the treatments are incredibly relaxing, and i enjoyed the soothing, cooling mask after the extraction, which makes a big difference.

The package I signed up for includes both a welcome and ending massage, which I always look forward to.

After 4 months, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my skin. While I’m not at 100% clear skin yet, I’m seeing fewer breakouts, whiteheads, and clogged pores. However, for those with acne caused by hormonal issues like myself, it’s important to remember that facials alone won’t resolve everything. I also take supplements to help balance my hormones.

Lastly, I want to highlight the best therapist/beautician I’ve had so far, Ms. Mimi. She was incredibly gentle and demure, explaining every step of the treatment and regularly checking in to ensure I was comfortable, especially during the extractions. The welcome and ending massages she provided were also wonderfully relaxing.
