I recently had an amazing experience at HyperDrive GoKart in Palawan Beach, Sentosa, and I can’t wait to share it! This indoor go-karting facility is a gem, perfect for thrill-seekers of all ages, especially families with kids. Here’s why it stood out to me: ### Safe and Family-Friendly Safety is clearly a top priority at HyperDrive. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that they have taken every precaution to ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone. The karts are equipped with the latest safety features, and the staff provides a thorough briefing before you hit the track. This made me feel very comfortable letting my kids participate. ### Cool Air-Conditioned Comfort One of the best parts of HyperDrive is that it’s an indoor facility with excellent air conditioning. This is a huge plus given Singapore's tropical climate. It was such a relief to race around the track without breaking a sweat. The cool, comfortable environment makes it perfect for long sessions without the heat and humidity wearing you down. ### Well-Designed Track The track itself is incredibly well-designed. It offers a variety of twists and turns that are exciting and challenging, but also suitable for all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned racer, you’ll find the track engaging. The layout allows for some thrilling overtakes and high-speed sections, making each lap an adrenaline-pumping experience. ### Environmentally Friendly HyperDrive’s commitment to being environmentally friendly is commendable. The karts are electric, which means they produce no emissions and are much quieter than traditional gas-powered karts. This not only makes for a cleaner environment but also a more pleasant experience without the noise and fumes. ### High Security Security at HyperDrive is top-notch. The facility is well-monitored, and the staff is always on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly. The electronic karts are equipped with systems that can be remotely controlled to ensure safety at all times. This high level of security gave me peace of mind, knowing that my family was in good hands. ### Perfect for Kids HyperDrive is fantastic for kids. They offer karts suitable for younger drivers, and the staff is great with kids, making sure they understand all the safety instructions and are comfortable before they start. My children had a blast and are already asking when we can go back! In conclusion, HyperDrive GoKart at Palawan Beach, Sentosa, is an exceptional facility that combines fun, safety, and environmental consciousness. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, this is a must-visit attraction. The thrilling races, coupled with the comfortable and safe environment, make it a perfect activity for the whole family. Highly recommended!

Location: from Harbour front train station, take monorail up Inside Sentosa's Beach station + few minutes walk Price: Weekday night time in Dec, $86 for 2 sessions of 8 minutes each + $3 for each balaclava. $50 for 1 session. Honestly it's on the steep side. Been to the one at Kranji but that was open space and traditional go kart. Service: Reached an hr earlier. Told to reach 30 mins earlier for safety briefing. Sat there to watch existing heats. However 20 minutes prior to first heat, staff asked if we would like to join 1 heat earlier. We went down immediately and briefing already started.. staff just summarize 2 important points. When we went to grab helmet staff gave me very small helmet.. I feedback it was very tight, grinding my cheeks against my teeth.. Staff insisted needs be tight.. There was a dummy go kart to take photos just before the free lockers provided. Compared to traditional go kart, the go kart reached max speed the moment I stepped on the accelerator. Adrenaline rush. Many s and sharp u turns but was a bit too exciting for me as there are a 2-3 strangers who insisted on accelerating and overtaking during sharp turns. Almost collided. Btw damage to carts might be chargeable as mentioned during briefing. The previous heats has more amateurs I would have preferred. Overall nice experience. My partner preferred it lot more. Weather proof since indoor. Do take note to book online esp during peak. Arrive early for briefing. Hopefully people can be more considerate esp when overtaking at turns. No of laps depends on speed and no. of yellow flags so if someone skidded less laps since electric kart slows down automatically. But it's for the safety of everyone

Place is brand spanking new! Smells new with brand new karts! Booked the 2 session slot hoping to get a try at 50kmh. Note that you need to hit a minimum time with the 30kmh to even qualify. And if you buy 2 session slot like me, even if you qualify you won’t get to use the 50kmh karts. You’ll need to leave the track to go to the counter and purchase ANOTHER ticket for 50kmh. That’s a real bummer altho I didn’t qualify. Oh yes 50kmh will require you to have driving license too, to add on to what I’ve mentioned on top. I’m on the heavier side of weight, and the track layout and width makes it very very hard to overtake. And people will crash into you or block if you try overtaking. I already drove the kart to what I believe was my limit already it will not go any faster with me on it 🤣🤣🤣 Balaclava is required as well, for hygiene purpose, you can buy them when you book a slot. I also bought a 2-seater session, when I went there they told us it’s for one adult and one child. Gave us a little scare as we’re two adults lol 🤣 we got the ride anyway. 2-seater was abit on the slow side. Track itself was filled with turns, a lot of steering work. But it was fun. 👍🏻 The food there wasn’t even near considering. Way way overpriced. For two pax if you’re dining, be ready to fork out $80 🤣 The timing system is great tho, it’ll reflect your time and performance for daily and weekly basis, can track your timing online as well! Note that no action camera will be allowed, even if mounted! Worth going one time to try that’s all 🤣

Its... Fine, in guess. Expect to throw $45 in the bin before buying a race though: Crazy slow, but it does mean that the are hardly any yellow flags compared to most tracks. Very short track, but it's plenty wide which is nice, as there are easy passing spots, and again - less yellows than other venues. The surface was good, I would say about "B" grade for grip which is generally considered perfect if you wanna drift/have fun... Except they force you to do a full session on limiters before you can get enough speed for that. Its just throwing away $45 really. You can literally hug the apex of every corner besides one, and pull an easy 33.500 if you never lift lol. Obviously HANS devices aren't practical, so I was surprised that we didn't get neck-pillows... But I guess at that SLOW speed, the only think putting pressure on your neck is the rock-hard rubber behind your back. Still surprising though. The screens are Fantastic! Splits, flags, we also paid to do the gamified racing. It was a funny gimmick and maybe worth doing once. Shame that it therefor felt like we threw $100 in the bin until they would let us "race"... That that's how I goes I guess. They also told us to make sure we were there 30 mins early for our session, but the venue wasn't even open for that. Quite stressful when places like this often threaten to void your session if not early. No track maps anywhere, I thought that was weird too, but in hindsight, the karts are SO SLOW that I see why that would be pointless.

My friends and I bought 3 sessions on the senior 30kmph kart and overall, the place was very well run. We checked in 30 mins before our session starts and when our session was about to start, we headed down to the briefing room for the safety briefing. Balaclavas and helmets were issued with lockers available for us to keep our belongings. Once we were strapped in, the session lasted 8 mins. If there were no yellow flags or incidents, we could do about 12 or so laps. On saying that, my only unfortunate experience was being in a session with less experienced drivers (either youth or those without a drivers licence). Our 8 mins was barred with 6 yellow flags and with about a minute per yellow flag, that didn’t leave us with much time for a proper hot lap. There were also times during that session where I had to avoid some of the drivers and they were borderline driving recklessly. Even after stopping when the session was over, one of the drivers came straight into my kart without breaking. That incident actually hurt my neck (whiplash). I did approach staff about this and noted the driving throughout the session but they still let the driver in question through to the next session anyway. Obviously the yellow flags and incidents continued which thankfully, I didn’t had to waste my second session on.

Booking on website is ok, waiver signing was quite headache for me on site. Would be good if it can be made easier. Track is mostly twists and turns, so if you wish for Fast n Furious on straight roads, maybe this is not so fun. Also the go karts sometimes slows down drastically; according to them it's a safety feature to slow down other racers if there is an incident on track so that the affected racer can get back into the track safely. I guess it's good but quite vexing for experienced racers. If your session has abit more racers, may be hard to overtake or if the racers mostly are noobs like me, the more experienced racers may find it frustrating. 😅 It's supposedly a gamified electric go-kart, but note that the gaming part is not ready yet so it's just normal go karting for now. Also, do check the requirements for the 3 different Karts before purchasing the tickets; the Junior Kart is for kids of certain height and age and Dual Kart is for adult (who has a driving license) and kid and Senior Kart is for adults with no license. All are normally Novice Level 30km/h and if you want the Advanced Level 50km/h please check the criteria in the ticketing page.
