This morning around 1030am, while me and my partner were seated at Yak Kun having morning tea, a few childcare center employees had taken around a dozen young kids playing blowing bubbles just outside Yak Kun.
The glass wall separated us.
Around 1045 the employees left with the kids. To our surprise, one young kid was left wondering alone outside, while the rest of the staff and kids had casually walked back to the child care center.
The poor kid was left alone, while cars and bicycles came in and out of the Safra drop off point.
I quickly ran out of Yak Kun to pick the kid up. I carried the kid back to the child care center, on my way I passed by the two Safra security guards (the Malay gentleman and the woman in glasses) and I explained to them what had happened. They were pretty shock.
I managed to catch up with the child care workers and dropped the kid back with them.
The staff never said one single word of appreciation or even showed concern that there was someone from their contingent who had gone missing (!). They simply assumed the kid had wandered back on his own (which of course he couldn’t have since he was at most 3 years old and could not really speak or walk least of all find his way back).
My question is, how can this sort of thing happen, why wasn’t there even a headcount of how many kids have been taken out for a walk?
Please make sure such things don’t...
Read moreI called the hotline on 23rd Feb 2022 to ask if the unvaxxed could collect vouchers and was told by a male voice in the affirmative. I then proceeded to purchase vouchers online the next day.
Lo and behold, when I called the same hotline to confirm my collection today, 1Mar, Sakina told me no, after checking with her Manager. This was even after I had told her that I possess a medical exemption letter for the shot, therefore , I am unvaxxed. It only takes 5 minutes to collect my vouchers at the counter, but Safra TPY chooses to over reach the advisory by the government by banning all unvaxxed from its premises, after having said that it is alright. Where is the integrity and honesty of the organisation? If your hotline staff is unable to provide accurate information, the least u could do is to honour your staff's information, instead of playing your member out. How about helping to hand over the vouchers to your member at the door since you disallow her entry?
It is about time not to renew my family's years of...
Read moreThis place serves as one of the most centralised locations as a place if you want to have a bbq by the pool. The pit is clean and there's a sink for food preparation. There's also a light located at the corner of the wall where you can turn it on so you can watch food cook in the dark. 5 ⭐ for this 👍
The disadvantage is that the place is that it's not well designed enough to withstand the wet weathers. And we were lucky to have tried the umbrellas to know what it's like instead of experiencing cancellations.
It will be better if a pemenant shelter can be built over the pits. This can greatly improve the experience for users and greatly reduce complaints when they had to cancelled out on their bookings due to wet conditions.
Take note: there is zero refunds for all cancellations made. Each pit cost about $60-95 for 3 hours. This deters many people from wanting to book pits during the wet season. Which I feel the management can possibly avoid by improving the design of the bbq...
