Went for acupuncture this evening around 8pm n seen the doctor at 2nd story room 22 but inside ,students was around too. Doctor wants the student to learn by asking them to do the cupping for me but tat old student spread lots of lubricant over my back.n I don't think is wise. I don't agree students to do their practice on the patients. Students should do for the doctor so tat when they did in the wrong way , teacher straight away can point out. I told the physician, I'm scare of pain so pls don't let the student practice on me but she say if don't let them try , they nv learn. But after I went home ,straight go shower , no matter how much soap I apply on my back , the oil doesn't go off. I'm quite angry for their unprofessional. I did ask the doctor , why don't get the student to do for their own family n was told their family dare not let the students practice . If the family don't even dare n why should we outsider let the students practice on us . I've mentioned to the physician many times , pls don't let the student touch me but it seems done work at all.. Pls always bare in mind ,we are human not 白老鼠 Betty Ps hope u can take a close look on this matter. I've paid...
Read moreI had a deeply disappointing experience at Toa Payoh Zhong Hua TCM during a consultation with Physician 赵英杰 Zhao Yingjie for my father, who has been diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer.
From the outset, the focus of the consultation seemed to center on our financial situation. One of the first questions posed was about our ability to pay, followed by a suggestion to continue treatment at his private clinic, which charges higher fees. He then recommended a herbal prescription available only at his clinic for over $100.
During the brief session, he also stated that my father’s prognosis was poor, estimating a life expectancy of 4–6 months, and strongly advised weekly visits to his private practice at approximately $70 per session.
The experience left us disheartened. It felt transactional and lacked the compassion and professionalism we hoped for during such a vulnerable time. I would encourage others to consider carefully before seeking treatment here, especially if you’re looking for a patient-centered and ethical...
Read moreFirst time seeing physician there. My registration is a breeze, first get a Q number then sit and watch your number being call. Counter recep is polite, even apologise for speaking loud because there is renovation going on. Physician is good asked alot of questions to understand my condition better. After consultation she ask me to wait infront of dispensary for my name being called. The dispensary aunty is curt but NOT rude, told her my first time taking medicine she explained to me how to take. For those reading my review, show some graciousness, there is NO VIP treatment for a NOn-profit organisation, patience is a must. The medication plus consultation is already very low as compare to outside. For those still frustrated with the service. I was there again. This time went at 11.30am to get early q number for afternoon registration. Notice the registration/dispensary staff oversee 170 patients per shift from 9am to 1pm and thats only 4 ppl handling this load. Not inclusive those who make appointment previously....
