Sembawang Shopping Centre is a convenient and family-friendly mall. Although it is quite far from the city center, My visit to this neighborhood mall was a pleasant experience, and it offers a range of amenities that cater to the needs of both shoppers and residents in the area.
The variety of stores and services available at Sembawang Shopping Centre is commendable. From supermarkets and pharmacies to fashion boutiques and eateries, the mall provides a well-rounded selection of essential and lifestyle offerings. It's a convenient one-stop destination for daily necessities and a quick shopping trip.
The mall's family-friendly environment is a significant advantage. There are ample spaces for children to play and engage in activities, making it an ideal place for families to spend quality time together. Additionally, the baby-changing facilities and family-friendly dining options add to the convenience for parents with young children.
I found the layout of Sembawang Shopping Centre to be well-designed and easy to navigate. The directory and signage were clear, making it straightforward to locate stores and amenities within the mall.
The mall's location in the heart of Sembawang makes it easily accessible to residents in the area. It's a convenient destination for locals looking for a quick shopping errand or a place to dine.
The affordability of the products and services available at Sembawang Shopping Centre is another positive aspect. The mall offers a good mix of budget-friendly and mid-range options, catering to a diverse range of shoppers.
While Sembawang Shopping Centre offers a pleasant shopping experience, it would be even more appealing with the addition of more diverse dining options and lifestyle stores. Expanding the range of eateries and shops would enhance the overall shopping and dining experience for visitors.
In conclusion, Sembawang Shopping Centre is a neighborhood mall that offers a convenient and family-friendly...
Read moreThe shopping centre is on the decline, one by one, the shops I frequently visit disappear. Business in Sembawang isn't all that good, especially at SSC.
Is it the shopping centre's fault? The location? Or the residents nearby? I believe it is all three.
It used to be better when it was under Frasers, but that only affects a small part of business. With no Frasers benefits, the frequent customers would rather shop at North Point, which is small distance away and has a huge variety of shops to visit.
As for the location, it is a distance from Sembawang and Yishun MRT station. That alone drives customers away. A small shopping centre not easily accessible can't possible draw a huge crowd.
Lastly, the residents nearby. SSC is surrounded by condos and private houses, in other words, people who are financially doing well. SSC doesn't have a large variety of shops, so it probably doesn't appeal to them all that much.
SSC is a fine place for people who dislike big crowds, people who just want a quick meal, people who are buying groceries for cooking... and people who dislike shopping with their mothers(sometimes they...
Read moreGood neighbourhood shopping mall and all but not when you're here to workout after 10pm. Security lady will come and haunt you regardless you go out for a smoke or went nearby petrol kiosk to buy something. She claim that we should not park there and go out of the mall to eat if it's past operating hours. If want to go out of the mall to eat, we must drive out. Which makes no sense at all. After all, we're PAYING for the carpark charges. Not the first time she accused me for going out of the mall to eat when I merely went out for a smoke break with the staff in the gym of the mall itself.
I understand she's just doing her job, but at least be vigilant about who goes in & out of the mall especially when it's just 5 mins interval. I did not have any issue with other security guards as they recognize the regulars and we're there to workout.
Do not come to this place after 10pm to avoid...
