Hi, hope this serves as a feedback for your crew and business model. There are approximately 6 tables within and 3 to 4 tables outdoors. Your staff service welcomed us is warmly and always polite. However, it is not about promotions luring customers to your newly opened dining location. It has to complete beyond a staff smile. We were seated promptly and your team was fast to put in our order. Half an hour into the wait, our table remains empty. Not even our order of drinks were served. I looked around and realized many customers are kind enough to self-serve handling your soiled plated or heading to reception to get their refill request of rice bowls. Kind gesture of patrons.
Your servers seemingly deemed disorganized and unable to handle the flow. I witnessed the lady server dishing out fresh shell oysters from the tanks, then got distracted by a customer’s request. Headed back to kitchen to attend to her request. She was busy managing to and fro, but forgot that she had left the oysters already fished out of the tank for over 10mins. These oysters are probably meant to be served as raw fresh as appetizers (of which I also ordered and glad I didn’t have to eat them). I would mind if such poor food handling is being observed. Next, this is a seafood restaurant that dishing out chef recommended crabs dishes cum lobsters etc. though I didn’t have a chance to sample them, with no doubt they would be delicious seeing to the delight of thumb licking good of many. Many patrons asked where to wash their hands, and witnessing they were ushered to the same sink that concurrently dishing out drinks or rather a working kitchen counter for food and drinks preparation, I was astonished. It was a nice gesture to ask your patrons to wash their hands there instead of heading to the nearest Public outlet. This shown poor planning, perhaps by providing wrt towels or other alternative would have been better than allowing patrons to wash their hands and moved within of the same place where they will be handling raw food and cleaned dishes. I’m taking a full sight the fallout of the disaster of a poor kitchen flow planning.
It was this simple process of hygiene cum no good segregation of proper handling that I asked my family to take leave after assessing their situation. Also not having confidence that our ordered dishes would take sight anywhere near within the next hour as there were 3 tables waiting before us. It also validated the earlier reviews of the waiting time for a meal took over 2 hours.
Hope your team will take this feedback to review your workflow to improve your patrons experience cum good handling hygiene...
Read moreWe visited this place when it was newly opened. So it was bit of clumsy and place seemed like understaffed. We booked reservation through third-party app and this had the staff get bit confused. Anyway, when we got the table, it wasn’t cleaned well and we were attended after 15-20 mins of waiting. We ordered 2 crabs in chilli flavoured (promotional offer), home made buns, garlic stir fried broccoli along with sparkling peach. Crabs were tasty and we wouldn’t finish so we did take it away. Broccoli were bit under cooked. For washing hands, we had to use the sink which is near the billing counter and fish tanks. So we have to pass through all their drink counter and use the sink which did not seem appropriate. May be we will try this place again to try out lobsters and other seafood, hope they do...
Read moreWaited 2 hours for the whole meal. Came first but other table got served first. They seem to deploy some sort of round robin system to serve guests. Which is incredibly frustrating. It was so slow that customers walked out of the restaurant.
Food was terribly overpriced. Small portion of crab fried rice is 17 dollars. For that price, you received roughly about 3/4 of a typical 1 person portion.
Crabs were great. Anything else on their menu is worse than a tourist's trap.
Overall, we had a terrible dining experience and would...
