Although it's a historical temple but the mgmt make it so unfriendly with lots of rules and restrictions..need to dress up before going in and cannot offer Joss stick in the inner hall etc..it's make us feels distance.. why would a sincere devotee be rejected from offering Joss stick to deities.. if my three Joss stick can cause fire or accident to the historical Temple then it's fate I personally think...well, deities aren't wrong it just the mgmt/people making all this feeling... nonetheless the deities there are mighty...there are still alot of temples...

This is another Taoist association in Singapore and the temple is over 1.5 CENTURY old and is a gazetted historical monument.

For both male and female visitors, please observe a proper dress code, including children. Direct entry is not permitted if you dress singlet, tank top, shorts and bermuda. You will be askes to put on a taoist apron and a shawl before you entering the premise if you come in the above mentioned attire.

This temple's patron diety is the Jade Emperor so strict observation and attire is required as a form of respect to...
