Large natural looking public park with dense nested pathways and rare huge trees. Since it looks like natural reservation it was first established in cca 19-th cen. and presserved as natural reservation until today. It is located in central part of the city Bratislava and accessible almost without carbon footprint release via electric bus (pure electrical type of public transport in city) The park is as natural reservation class IV. no fire allowed, biking is i think allowed on just gravel pathways. No off road biking.
The park is home for many rare birds species, mlok (gecko alike small lizzard), uzovka snake (non toxic specie) I heared about deers, hogs but today is it more fiction to meet them.
In the central part of the park is "Libresso Horaren", a small private coffee and drink place, with occassional live music. You can drive here with the car, get coffe and walk hours in the wild. The next part of the coffee house is a very quite children playground area for childrens to exhale their parents :) U can take tea or cofee to the playground area, or stay sitting inside while your child plays over. Playground area is not directly visible while still...
Read moreThis place is a favourite place of many Bratislavans. A refreshing place for families, young couples and singles, older people and dog lovers in general. It's a pleasure to overhear an intellectual debate here and there, to see people jogging in the woods, Moms and Dads carrying their babies in ergonomical carriers or pushing strollers and watch Grandparents from all sorts of different countries lovingly looking after their grandchildren. It's a lovely place especially for the kids thanks to the forest-like playground full of toys brought in by local community and animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, piglets the kids can enjoy observing and someties even feeding. There used to be a friendly pony who'd give children a ride down the path through the woods. This place is full of life, activities, workshops and much more. It's a place where you can let your body and soul and mind relax while still being in the relatively busy capital of...
