About 850 metres (25 min uphill) to reach the entrance from the car park. We waited in a queue for about 30 minutes (9:30 am) to buy the tickets, during the high season the entrance is every 15 minutes in groups of approx. 60 people. When we left the cave, there was already an enormous queue by the ticket office, and the waiting time must have been around 2 hours, if not more. There are some 700 steps inside of the cave, and the sightseeing lasts about 70 minutes. It is about 5 degrees Celsjus inside, so ensure to wear some warm clothes. There are 6 points (clearly numbered) where the tour inside the cave stops for explaination from the guide. The tour is in Slovak, but the recordings in Polish are played at each stop. The guide also asks (in English) if there is anybody who doesn't speak any of the languages, and is open to providing commentary also in English. The entrance can be paid in Euro or in PLN, however in cash only. It is not allowed to take photos inside of the cave, unless you pay 10 Euro (either by the entrance or directly to the guide). After you pay, you receive a yellow sticker (with the hour of the tour) that you should wear all the time to take photos. Our guide was not restrictive about this, though. I don't regret buying this permission, because the views inside the cave are worth it.

Tours take 70 minutes and you have to go on a tour, there is no individual visiting. You buy tickets at the cave entrance about 1km from the car park by the road - the trail is well signposted and flat but going up all the time so it will take anywhere between 10 and 25 mins to get to the entrance. At less busy times, entrances are once per hour at the top of the hour, but in busy times every 20 minutes, for groups up to 60 (minimum 4). Tours are in Slovak and they play Polish recordings at all the key places if there are Poles in the group. No English as it seems but maybe there were just not enough in the group we were in to to that. You have to walk up over 800 steps in the cave and then down again, it's fine for children, but not disabled or e.g. having serious issues with knees. Temperature inside about 5-6 deg so take something warm otherwise you will be freezing. Nice views and knoledgable and funny guides, I took away 1 star for having to pay 10 EUR for taking pictures (you get a sticker to pit on your camera), that's extortionate these days although perhaps they do it to keep the group moving.

We were in the cave for up to an hour. It's quite cool there so you need to dress warmer than outside, plus it's humid and slippery, so it's advisable to have hiking boots or non-slip soles (like basketball sneakers). The soles of my shoes were rubber, so I almost fell several times (it's good that there were hand supports that I managed to hold on to). There are a lot of stairs inside, you have to constantly climb up and down, so you need to have more or less healthy knees to overcome it all. One section is the bed of a dried-up waterfall, so you can't go there during a downpour to avoid being washed away by the water. I liked the guide who tells about each corner of the cave. One space with great acoustics had symphonic music on and it was amazing! Thank you!

The real price to visit the cave is in fact 27€ and not 12€ as wrongly advertised on their website: 1/ you can't escape parking fees with all the crooks on the road stopping cars and extorting them money instantly. I still managed to reduce it to 5€ instead of the initial 7€. Total scam. 2/ 12€ entrance fee and an additional 10€ for pictures! Unbelievable in 2023 since pictures on social media are the main driver for tourists to notice sightseeing places. Last but not least they mix pupils and visitors in the same tour. Imagine 50 loud and unruly kids in such a narrow place! The experience was ruined. The cave itself has some interesting sights but nothing exceptional worth this amount of money. There are far better caves in the Czech Republic.

Greed! In typical Slovak fashion, lets become millionaires overnight! What is otherwise beautiful cave was tainted by pricing. Entrance is 12€, fair enough. But parking 10€ is quite steep, especially if you need it only for 2-3 hours. But most outrageous is permit for taking own pictures for 10€. Unheard of! We went weekday in August. Entry is every 15min for group of 60 people. Waiting time was 30 min for entry, i suppose over weekend the waiting line is even longer, so be prepared for a longer wait in line. We went with small kids - i wouldn’t recommend. Place is cold and dark so not the best activity for them :) You cant pre-purchase online, payment is ca$h only, quite sad to see such a nice natural wonder operated by such outdated service.

We have visited Belianska Cave on Friday Afternoon it was an amazing day out with family and we couldn't ask for a better weather to be with us that day. Its and amazing place to visit if you are close by the area and like to be adventurous and up for a challenge to make it to the cave itself. It takes almost 30 minutes to get to the entrance, but it's all worth it. Only downfall of this place is that there is an extra charge per person if you would like to photograph parts of cave from inside , which I find a little odd ... but never came across to pay to take a photograph of nature , I guess that's how business work for them.
