Modernly equipped and nicely decorated sports center. It is also a good starting point for hiking - including a wonderful walk to the cottage in Tamar. In the center are : a museum - showing the history and successes of our jumpers, a hall for cross-country skiing, a wind tunnel, a souvenir shop and a bar with a terrace. The bar also offers great apple rolls. Outside is a great playground for children, and also inside a super nice playroom. Outside you can see jumbing tracks, covered with grass, where the jumpers also have practice, cross-country ski runs and our the largest jumbing track. You can enjoy in beautiful nature and in wonderful ambience. The view from the top of the center is amazing. They also offer a zip line from the top of the largest jumbing track. Everytime when we are in Kranjska Gora we visit this center. I recommend to everybody. A million things to do and to see. Excellent.

We could end with serious injuries. Irresponsible stuff that forgot to set thing that slows and break line at the end!!!! Look at the photos from our film how close it was.... they even didnt seen this becouse stuff that was responsible for it was turned back from us... then they tried to convice us that nothing happening, and it was our fault... luckily we had film that was proof.... after showing it they apologised, admitted that it was their fault and refounded our ticket. My kid have some wounds, the biggest on hand what was hopefully luckily not broken. I probbably hit the end of the line with my feet, becouse i feeling pain in it, but probbably it will be fine. We got really luck we didnt end with serious wounds or fractures. To be honest i should call the police, but we are on holidays, kid was tired and scared and i didnt want to loose so much time for all procedures ect... Never more....... i cant show photo of injuries becouse goole dont allow it...

Finally Planica got the infrastructure it deserved long ago! The ski hills are amazing, especially the flying hill. The same goes for all surrounding sport infrastructure. In the Centre a nice restaurant is available with museum and air tunnel. You can also try zip line from the flying hill. If you are already there I recommend a non demanding walk to the end of the valley to Tamar (around 3,5 km). There is also a mountain hut with excellent food and incredible views to Jalovec and Mojstrovka.

If more countries would invest like this for the younger generation than they would be able to preform great in the future. Cool to see the snow hall and snow making machines inside. Possible to make a free fall without having to jump out of a airplane. The ski jumps are amazing and to see the people to train on them is amazing. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. The whole area is a parking lot and needs to be paid for. Possible to stay with your campers.

We visited Planica for the zipline experience (apparently the steepest in the world). This immediately increases your respect for the ski jumpers who can be watched training at the different ski jumps. The central reception is very welcoming and the nature surrounding the complex is amazing. You can also buy a 4 euro ticket for the ski lift, if you only want to visit the highest ski jump and look at the athletes and the zipliners.
