Impressive location. The ski jumps look quite scary from the bottom. I went during summer so no snow to be seen, but there were few athletes training on one of the mid-highly jumps. The facility nearby is quite nice. Clean and contained with a big terrace facing the jumps site. There is also a museum celebrating all the Slovenian ski sport athletes and an indoor ski track for training. The wind gallery was out of Rotherham for maintenance but it would be an extra activity offered by...

Impressive! We did the zip line, which is probably the steepest in the world and follows the famous ski flying hill. The zipline is totally safe, but you can have a glimpse of how crazy and well prepared those ski jumpers must be. I would recommend to book in advance, although you most probably find available time slots for the zipline. Visiting the center is also nice and you can also book to indoor skydive, though expensive and available only...

We just visited Planica for FIS Nordic World Ski Championship. We are not realy happy how it was orgenized. 40min walk from nearest car park, stuff on the roundabound very rude, portable toilets without water to wash the hands😱. There was 1 tent with seating and eating area. Capcity was for about 1/10 of all ppl visited so when event started 10am and finished 7pm you couldn’t have a chance to sit during that time😕...

Planica to też miejsce idealne dla turystów, gdyż stanowi dobrą bazę wypadową do eksploracji terenów parku narodowego i okolicznych szlaków górskich.
