A lovely outing for the family!
Adults pay €9 to enter and kids (from 7 onwards, I believe) €6. Food for animals is €1 per bag, which contains peanuts and pellets.
At the entrance, you also get a map of the mini zoo with information on which animals you should feed and which you should not. Very helpful!
The entire place is full of interesting animals, sculptures, and play areas for kids. There are play houses, special areas just for little kids and every building has instructions on it, in addition to information about the animals.
It also quite developed in the last years and is suitable for kids big and small. During winter, not all animals are visible (e.g. flamingos, which we saw in the summer).
Most interesting for our kids were: the lions (they now have a lot more space), crocodiles, snakes (albino python), monkeys, freely roaming alpacas and nandu, feeding bunnies and zip lining.
For adults, the coffee machine, photo machine, popcorn maker and many seating options were the highlights.

Read moreThis place should be closed. The animals are crammed into an extremely small space, often alone. In addition to the extremely small accommodation, there are no adequate rooms for taking care of the animals, for example the wallabies are freezing because they are not provided with the conditions and that is at the beginning of autumn, one can only imagine how they are during the winter. Animal feed can be bought, but no one checks what is given to the animals. The pony looks very bad, has one inflamed eye, but they still make him ride it. Parrots have their wings clipped, but for some incomprehensible reason anyone can enter their space, which is why the birds are extremely afraid and consequently they scream because they have no other way of defense or escape. Loud music was played constantly, which I can only imagine how the animals feel all day, every day. It's not overly clean, and everything looks messy and closed. I regret every euro we paid, but if it means this place closes, it will...
Read moreI was hyped up when I saw that a small town like this has a ZOO... When I came to the place, location and the look of an entrance should have been first hint that I'll be disappointed. But nonetheless, I decieded to not judge the book by the cover and to enter... And boy, was I wrong.
Animals are kept in tragic and criminally bad conditions. All the pens and cages are too small, a lot of animals look sick and not cared for, on some you can sense and see pure sadness and suffering. I was heartbroken and disgusted.
This should either be closed as soon as possible, or get funding to expand and upgrade the area for animals, but from what I've seen, I don't think owners care even a little bit about those animals to even consider upgrading, for them these are not living beings but source of cash. Tragedy!
Photo: size of a pen for this little guy... he was walking psychotically left and right the whole time, clearly distracted and suffering. He lost a lot of hair and was...
